About Jala Yoga
Trauma-Informed Yoga | Therapy | Education | Retreats
At Jala Yoga®, we believe that yoga & counselling can be powerful tools for healing, connection, and transformation—when they're offered with care, compassion, and trauma-informed principles at its core.
We offer Yoga, Counselling, and Professional education that supports the whole human—mind, body, nervous system, and spirit.
Founded by Mollie Cox, a qualified counsellor, senior trauma-informed yoga teacher, and yoga therapist, Jala Yoga® was created to bridge the worlds of yoga, healthcare, mental health & evidence-based care. She is also passionate about environmental & humanitarian activism and how we can extend Yoga beyond the borders of our mats.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Somatic Therapy, Neuroscience & Polyvagal Theory
-
Mindfulness, Meditation & iRest Yoga Nidra
-
CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy & Nervous System Education
Everything is taught through the lens of trauma-informed care and delivered at a pace that honours your capacity.
Why “Jala” Yoga?
“Jala” means water in Sanskrit—symbolising fluidity, softness, resilience, and the innate capacity to adapt, transform, and flow through life’s inevitable currents.
Just like water, healing doesn’t follow a straight line.
It pools, it ripples, it crashes, it stills.
It moves around obstacles—sometimes slowly, sometimes with surprising force.
At Jala Yoga®, we honour this natural intelligence. We create space for you to return to your own rhythm, your own pace, your own way of healing.
We explore healing in a way that is gentle but powerful, like water—capable of wearing away even the hardest edges with time, presence, and care.
